How To Join The Knights of Cygnus
The first time you log in after the upgrade that added the Cygnus Knights, you’ll automatically see a cinematic introducing them. Neinheart will offer you an invitation to join the Knights. If you’re over level 20, accept and your character will be transported to Ereve. If you’re less than level 20, Neinheart will say something about waiting for you to reach level 20.
While the language and presentation can be confusing, you aren’t going to lose or actually change your original character. Your character’s level, skills, items, and appearance are all perfectly safe. Your Cygnus Knight will be a new character.
If you already had the three character limit, you will be able to create your Cygnus Knight as a fourth character.
Your Knight will be given a Blessing of the Fairy bonus tied to the level of the character you were on when you created it, so it would benefit your Cygnus Knight to create it while logged in as your highest level character. Your original character also gets a Blessing of the Fairy bonus based on the level of your Cygnus Knight. This is a passive skill, and equal to one rank per 10 levels of the other character, affecting Weapon Attack, Magic Attack, Accuracy, and Avoidability.
To play your new Knight you’ll need to log out then back in, to choose the character on the selection screen. If you had three characters before this, the arrows on either side of the screen will allow you to flip to a new character selection page where you’ll find your Knight.
When you log in as your Cygnus Knight for the first time, you’ll go through an abbreviated tutorial on Ereve, with a quick level up process. As you level, they’ll give you a Knight robe and hat. When you reach level 10 you’ll be able to choose your job path and will be given a weapon. You’ll then be sent back to the trainer for three more levels before receiving your first missions as a Cygnus Knight
