MapleStory: Cygnus Knights start-up changes and guns and dungeons added with content update
Another massive content update has hit the world of MapleStory, full of new characters, items, and events that are sure to hold players’ attention for rest of the year. This time around, joining the ranks of the Cygnus Knights has been made easier, and a new boss and mini-dungeons have been added. Here’s a rundown of what is in the update:
Cygnus Knight
The Cygnus Knight can now be created from a clean slate, which means that players will no longer need to 20+ level character in order to create the stellar Knight.
Find Party Member Updated
To accommodate the new availability of the Cygnus Knight, the Find Party Member window has been enlarged to allow players to add the Knight into their parties.
New Tutorial
A new tutorial has been added for the Noblesses which is CK-specific
New boss added with many new quests
11 new quests have been added in order to give players the opportunity to fight against the new Balrog boss. Along with these new quests and boos comes new maps and items to be dropped. To add a bit of variety, there are two difficulty settings to choose from: Easy and Normal.
Talking bosses
Now players aren’t the only ones to speak their minds in world of MapleStory. Bosses have now been given the ability to talk, just like all the other NPCs in the game
More titles to give players benefits
Many new titles have been added to give players more perks for accomplishing different tasks. Some new titles to try and obtain are the Outstanding Citizen, Lovely Pet Owner, Monster Expert, and a lot more.
New mini dungeons
Two new mini dungeons have been added to the map, one in Drake’s Blew Cave in Sleepywood, and the other in Red nose Pirates’ hideout in Herb Town.
There are a couple new events going on that will give players the chance to obtain lots of new items, and keep them busy for the time to come.
