Maple Story Introduction
Thieves are among the most powerful classes of MapleStory at later levels. Bandits, which this guide focuses on, are the most powerful of the 2 thieves. However, Assasins make up for lack of power with extreme speed. Nevertheless, Bandits can be lean, mean pwning machines. Thieves use stealth, speed, and cool armours.
Bandits specialize in close range fighting, in which it pwns.
You want your lil bandit to be a lean, mean pwning machine, right? Well if you do then do him or her a favour and get 4 int and 4 str. (You get 5 ap after every level up. Ap can be accessed by pressing “s” assuming you have default key settings) After that, get your dex to 25. From there on, focus on your luk and only your luk until level 10. Keep focusing on your luk till lvl 12, which is when you start a permenant build. At lvl 12+, add 4 luk and 1 dex every level up you get. To make this simpler, get your dex double your lvl and put the rest into luk.
There are a lot of thief skills in the thieves’ handbook. Luckily, you only need to max about half of em. Here are the skills you need to max, or at least get.
Double stab (mastered at lvl 20) Stab the enemy twice(duh)
Disorder(mastered at lvl 20)Makes them lose wep atk and def. May disable enemy.
Dark sight(mastered at lvl 20) Can’t be hit but can’t atk or loot. Magic can still hit.
Nimble body(mastered at lvl 20)Adds accuracy and avoidability.
